Simone Wan, Licensed in Acupuncture and Chinese Herbology

Simone Wan, nationally licensed in Acupuncture and Chinese Herbology, has been working with women since she was 18. She started her career researching breast and ovarian cancer at M.D. Anderson Hospital in Houston, Texas. Seeking to treat diseases without pharmaceutical drugs or surgery, she studied holistic medicine, which offers many benefits without harmful side effects. After spending two years in Beijing, China, she completed her Bachelor of Science degree in Pre-med at New York University and went on to complete a four-year Master’s degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine at Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in New York City with honors. Her training includes Western medical education, pharmacology, Western and Eastern nutrition, Chi Gong therapy, Reiki, medical massage therapy, acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine.

Simone is licensed by the State of Connecticut and the State of New York and is a board certified Diplomate of the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM). She also has additional training and certification in Cancer Therapy from Memorial Sloan-Kettering and Facial Acupuncture Renewal from world renowned Mary Wakeman. Her memberships include the Acupuncture Society of New York (ASNY), American Association of Oriental Medicine (AAOM), and the American Society of Reproductive Medicine (ASRM).

She is also the resident Acupuncturist for St. Vincent’s Cancer Center helping people with the side effects of cancer and cancer treatments.

Jeannine Capria, RN, MSN/IH, CHES, CLT

Jeannine Capria is an ARCB Certified Reflexologist, Certified Lymphatic/Lymphedema Therapist, Reiki Master/Teacher and Healing Touch Practitioner, and Certified Intrinsic Coach®.

Throughout her career as nurse and health educator she has been a dedicated and passionate advocate for her clients. Some of her greatest experiences have been exploring enhanced wellness methodologies. She embraces a "whole body health" approach that nurtures the body, mind, spirit and emotions, and believes it is the only way to truly transform and restructure our lives.

Being diagnosed with Guillain-Barré Syndrome (GBS) propelled her towards holistic nursing and led to a surprising transformational experience. While trying to deal with her intense pain and recovery, GBS not only became the catalyst of a new journey towards wellness, but also her greatest teacher. Inspired by this transformational experience and passion to be a healer, when Holistic Nursing was officially recognized in 2006 by the American Nurses Association, Jeannine found her voice in holistic nursing.

Jeannine offers her clients an opportunity to embark on their own life transforming experience. She works with them to understand the "root" of their challenges. To define and reach their personal wellness goals, she wishes to inspire, motivate and empower clients to develop sustainable healthy lifestyle habits and take charge of their lives.

Jeannine currently collaborates with St. Vincent’s Medical Center and Griffin Hospital in Connecticut to volunteer services to patients and corporate clients. In addition, she volunteers her time to provide health lectures and services to support the Adult Programs at the Edith Wheeler Memorial Library in Monroe Connecticut.

Laurie Millo, licensed massage therapist, offers her caring attitude and expertise in massage therapy to provide therapeutic and holistic services that relax, balance, transform and empower clients achieve their best health possible.

Laurie graduated from The Connecticut Center for Massage Therapy and is licensed by the state of Connecticut. Since 2006 she has worked in both spa and medical settings. Her training also includes Healing Touch and Reiki therapies. She is focused on assisting clients to achieving a better quality of life and enhanced wellness. As a member of the American Massage Therapy Association, Laurie upholds the highest level of professionalism, standards and ethics. She is passionate about promoting a holistic healthcare approach towards wellness including therapeutic massage. Laurie maintains best practices by staying up to date with continuing education courses and workshops in the field of massage and holistic healthcare and currently volunteers at Connecticut Hospice in Branford CT.

Laurie believes that massage can be the passage way to a transformative and balanced life. Her sessions are designed to promote relaxation and overall wellness. While specifically focused to get to the source of your discomfort, she facilitates a holistic approach and encourages your active participation in the healing process.

Lenore C. Pranzo, Meditation/Guided Imagery Therapist

Lenore C. Pranzo has a background in substance abuse, mental health and adolescent counseling.  She has a Masters degree from Fairfield University in Marriage and Family Therapy, a Masters in International Economics and Management from Bocconi University in Milan, Italy and a Bachelors degree in Finance from Sacred Heart University in Fairfield, CT.  

She has worked with Liberation Programs in Stamford, Silver Hill Hospital in New Canaan, CT and most recently at Hall-Brooke Behavioral Health Services in Westport, CT.  Prior to a career in Therapy she worked for 10 years in corporate roles and human resources management.  She is a clinical member of both the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapy and the Connecticut Association of Marriage and Family Therapy and has been in private practice since 2005.

Linda Stawski, RN, CLNC, RMT

Linda Stawski, RN, CLNC, RMT is a holistic nurse with a long history in psychiatric nursing. Linda is a Reiki Master Level II as well as Reiki Master Teacher.

Linda is a well-educated healthcare professional with experience in the public health, psychiatric/mental health, addictions and cardiac nursing sectors. She also has extensive experience providing crisis intervation evaluations in several ER facilities. She is extremely passionate about her work.

Jessica DeFeo, Yoga Instructor

Jessica DeFeo began practicing yoga in 2000 while attending the Fashion Institute of Technology. She started to maintain a regular practice in 2010 to help relieve the pain of an injury she acquired from a minor car accident. The regular practice led her to enroll in teacher training at Kaia Yoga in Westport, Connecticut. She became a certified 200 hour yoga instructor in December 2012.
